July 2014 Birchbox: Power Up Challenge (Women’s Health Mag)

I secretly love the Women’s Health curated Birchboxes because they usually come in a special sleeve (yay!) and sometimes have a subscription……but no, not this time.  Oh well, it’s okay, because do I spy…more Cynthia Rowley Beauty?  *gasp*

Are you ready to power up? We are! This month, we’ve joined forces with Women’s Health to amp up your summer, starting with your beauty stash. Get ready to discover products that will boost your routine—and your confidence too. On the Magazine, we’ll show you how to snack smarter, master the “power brow,” style your hair sans blow-dryer, and so much more. And in your box, we included a booklet of 12 (totally doable) challenges that will inspire to make some positive changes. Show us how how you’re completing them and tag your pics with #PowerUpChallenge @Birchbox and #Giveaway for the chance to win a collection of products from our July box, plus a trip to NYC for a beauty and fitness makeover! 1. Cynthia Rowley Beauty Creamy Lip Stain (!!!)
  2. Naobay Body Radiance Lotion
  3. Real Chemistry Luminous 3-minute Peel
  4. Ofra Universal Eyebrow Pencil
  5. 100% Pure Gingerade Shower Gel (Honey Cream Wash)

Neat!  What do you guys think of this month’s Birchbox?  I’m pretty…no, *really* satisfied.  This is my second Cynthia Rowley product to sample (I got an eyeliner before) and creamy + lip stain sound just heavenly when it comes to a lip product.   I could really use that peel right about now, Birchbox has never sent me an eyebrow pencil before, and I really needed some shower gel for my upcoming trip!

Other note: for those of you who buy products from the Birchbox shop—Have you been having problems with your shipping?  This is the…third or fourth order that I’ve placed that gets stuck under ‘processing.’  It’s weird, it’ll be like that for a week or more, when the receipt page clearly says that orders with full-size products in them get shipped in 2 days.  I’ve had to get Birchbox Ops to check up on it, every time.  Hmm.  D:
