Confession: I have never tried Starbucks’ legendary PSL—Pumpkin Spice Latte. Or the even more legendary PSF—Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino! (I’m more of a peppermint person, I love skinny Peppermint Mocha Lattes!)
All of the ladies at my office were super excited this week—PSLs are now available at Starbucks! Once September rolls around, everything automatically starts rolling into ‘Fall’ mode…(I can’t do it! Not until the temperature starts to drop. It was still in the high 80s yesterday)
So to help myself transition, I’m going to make my own PSLs at home!
First up is Recipe Girl’s homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte!
It looks delicious but a bit too sweet. I’m going to skinny-fy it (less sugar/more Splenda) and omit the whipped cream…I’ll add frothed skim milk, instead. OH I have to share my Nespresso machine with you guys! Mine has a frother built-in—it’s so easy and it’s. the. BEST.
I think it’ll feel more like Fall once it hits….late September. Or rather—when I can *FINALLY* wear jeans outside without feeling like I’m being baked alive. And a sweater! I can’t wait till it’s sweater (albeit with shorts haha) weather!
