November 2014 Birchbox: Giving

Hey everyone!  How has your November been going, so far? (I CAN’T BELIEVE IT’S ALMOST OVER I SWEAR IT WAS JUST HALLOWEEN)

Birchbox re-did lots of sections on their site.  It’s pretty neat!  But I miss the old format of showcasing products—oh well.  This new way is pretty cool, too.

This month, Birchbox sent me:

  1. Klorane: Floral Water Makeup-Remover with Soothing Cornflower
  2. theBalm Cosmetics: Cindy-Lou Manizer
  3. Blood Orange Caramel (Bonus)
  4. Eslor: Firming Collagen Day Cream
  5. Harvey Prince: Hello Shampoo
  6. Harvey Prince: Hello Condition

First of all, I was a bit sad because the mailman left my package in the sun and my chocolate melted.  ;_;

Secondly, this box is cool!  This is a [red] themed box—Birchbox partnered with them to raise money and awareness for the global fight against AIDS.

Third: I LOVE THIS BOX!  I will use everything.  I’m being cheap for the holiday season so I’ve been using regular Neutrogena makeup remover–and you know what?  It gets the job done all day, everyday.  No frills but it’s cheap and I love it!  It’ll be kind of nice to use a fancy makeup remover, for once.  theBalm Highlighter will be perfect for holiday parties, I’ll be using that shampoo/conditioner on my next business trip (NEXT WEEK I HAVE TO PACK) as well as the day cream too—I’m not used to cold weather, I’ll need all the thick creams I can get!

Fourth, I got this box because I didn’t qualify for the special, curated box for this month.  There was an item in it that couldn’t be shipped to Hawaii/Alaska so oh well…I wanted that ModelCo mascara but I just got a Laura Mercier one last month…I’m being greedy.

If I don’t post again before Thanksgiving, hope you all have a happy holiday!  :3
