May 2015 Birchbox: Cupcakes and Cashmere/Elevate Everyday

This month’s Birchbox (I am typing really hard right now LOL) offered a curated box by Cupcakes and Cashmere’s Emily S.  (C & C is a really neat fashion/food/lifestyle blog).  I ended up going with the sample choice over the curated box though~

What do you guys think?  The Macadamia Moisture Oil Treatment was my sample choice pick (I think they were all haircare items)–I tried this conditioning foam thing (used instead of shampoo) and it was AMAZING.  My hair felt AMAZING, it smelled AMAZING, it lathered AMAZINGly.  I have high hopes for this product–did I tell you guys I ombre’d my hair?  It’s drier now than before, due to the dye.  I got scolded by my siblings because I didn’t do ‘aftercare.’

I personally really like CoTZ products–they’re really dependable.  Hopefully I get that Lollibalm in a really bright, fun color (yay for tinted lip balms!) and I’m interested in that TokyoMilk cream–I’ve seen the brand around but this is my first time trying it.  And they Harvey Prince sample is just okay–this is the first time in a long time that BB has sent me a fragrance sample so I can’t complain too much.

Also, I bought a necklace from Dogeared as my bonus add-on item of the month.  I liked the idea!  Pretty much, you wear it until the string breaks (on its own).  You might lose the charm but it means your wish/goal/whatever will come true.  Cute, yeah?

This is the one I picked:
