Thanksgiving Roundup

Happy Thanksgiving week, everyone! What are y’all thankful for? I’m thankful for cool weather, great family and friends, and definitely a great subscriber base! 🙂

But also, pie. Specifically pumpkin pie, but I have a soft-spot for apple as well. Check out these adorable DIY pie labels from Studio DIY! These would be great if you’re doing a Thanksgiving meal with friends. (PS you can DIY the pie box as well, there’s a link with the instructions)

And lastly, if you’d rather have your dessert in a liquid format, this holiday themed beverage is right up your alley~  I absolutely love this drink, it’s so festive!

Awesome idea if you need something new to bake for Thanksgiving but are tired of making the same ‘ol pumpkin crunch?  If you make it, don’t forget to invite me over!  I’ll bring a fruit salad.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Scrumptious Pumpkin Bars

DANG.  It’s November.  Can you believe it?  I sure can’t. I barely remember what I did this year.

I’m also feeling a bit of holiday guilt–I bought wrapping paper and labels the other day!  It’s not even Thanksgiving (and it was barely after Halloween)!  I feel like I’m leap-frogging over holidays.  Blah.

So in the spirit of November, I will make Pumpkin Bars.  Or rather, Pumpkin Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting.  I don’t know why I added the word “scruptious.”  It seems like a very…holiday word to use.  Haha!

Brown Eyed Baker’s Pumpkin Bars. Yum!

Click through for the recipe.  Doesn’t that look awesome?  BrownEyedBaker says the recipe is quick, easy, and perfect for last-minute guests.  Now that’s my kind of recipe!  Haha.  I am absolutely in love with those candy pumpkins.  So cute!

I would like pretty plates. ;_;
